Sat, 15:09: Brunch was lovely, but we were sitting next to a table filled with privileged travellers who clearly only see Hawaii as their playground.

Sat, 15:13: I remember when I first moved to WA State and people would learn I was from Hawaii. SO MANY folks bragged to be about their vacations.
Sat, 15:14: How they would park in people's yards and not pick up after themselves after a beach picnic because hey, they paid hospitality taxes right!
Sat, 15:15: And I'd be like, why are you telling me this? Why are you going out of your way to tell me that you are a giant fuckhead?
Sat, 15:18: There is a poverty and housing crisis going on in Hawaii, impacting the "poors" who were displaced for yet another resort. But hey.

Sat, 15:24: In less infuriating news, we braved the store after brunch and came away with groceries to last through Christmas and all Iliana's presents.
Sat, 15:26: In one fricking go, Christmas is taken care of. BOOM. Although if anyone wants to buy Iliana LEGOs for 3 year olds, that would be swell. ;)
